Export paid bills from Sage Intacct

Step by step: the Sage Intacct report to run, the columns to keep, and how to save it as CSV for ERPSav.

Export the paid bills

  • Go to Accounts Payable, then Bills, and open the list of all bills.
  • Filter the list to the last two or three years and include paid bills.
  • Show the Vendor name, Bill number, Date, Total amount and Total paid columns.
  • Use the list's Export option and choose CSV.

What the file needs

  • One row per bill, with the supplier, the supplier's invoice number and the amount.
  • Invoice date, payment date, amount paid and the cheque or payment reference make the matching sharper. Add them if the report offers them.
  • Two to three years of history. Split a larger file by year; re-importing an overlapping file never double counts.

Then

Open Supplier payments in ERPSav and drop the file on Import a file. If a column name is not recognised, ERPSav asks which column is which and remembers the answer for next time.

Good to know

Bill number is usually the supplier's invoice number. If you post several entities, add the Entity column.
