US shippers and consignees moving LTL and truckload freight
File and follow up every freight loss and damage claim on time
Reads your shipment and OS&D records and finds damage, shortage and loss that was never claimed, claims the carrier has not acknowledged or resolved, settlements below the invoice value and freight charges still billed on lost goods. It drafts each claim with the shipment details, the liability statement and the amount the federal claim rules require, and tracks the 9-month filing period.
The problem
Damaged and short shipments only become money if someone files a claim with the right paperwork inside the carrier's time limit. Many are handled by email, written off, or settled for less than the invoice value.
How it works
- Step 1Import the exceptionsDelivery receipts with damage or shortage notes, and receiving discrepancies.
- Step 2Match to the shipmentEach exception is tied to its bill of lading, carrier and the invoice value of the goods.
- Step 3Calculate the claimThe claim amount is computed, and any liability limits you provide from the carrier's terms are applied.
- Step 4Draft and calendarERPSav drafts the claim with a document checklist and records the filing deadline.
- Step 5Track the replyCarrier responses, partial offers and payments are logged against each claim.
Typical results
- Recoverable claims
- About 0.75–0.95% of freight spend, less whatever you already recover
- Based on an industry benchmark we have not independently verified. estimate

Questions
- What is the deadline?
- Under US federal law, motor carriers can't give you less than 9 months to file a loss or damage claim, or less than 2 years to sue. Your carrier's terms may allow longer.
- Who files the claim?
- You file it with the carrier in your own name, using ERPSav's draft and document list. On the managed plan we act under your signed letter of authority.
- Does it handle insurance claims?
- No. ERPSav prepares claims against carriers. Claims under your own insurance policy go through your insurer or broker.
- What does it cost?
- Self-serve plans start at $299 a month and you keep 100%. The Recovery plan is $99 a month for this module plus 12% of money credited to you. Managed is 25% of what is recovered.
- Is our data safe?
- Your files go into your own workspace, and every row is scoped to it, so no other customer can see them. Imports, letters and status changes are written to an audit trail with who did what and when. ERPSav runs on its own servers in the EU behind Cloudflare, and most modules work from a CSV export, so nothing is installed.
ERPSav drafts carrier claims you file in your own name; it does not handle insurance claims and never arranges transport.
