What is accepted
- CSV or TXT, up to 8 MB per file. Export from Excel or Google Sheets with Save as CSV.
- A title block above the header is fine: the reader finds the header in the first ten rows.
- Money in any common format: $1,500.00, 1500, (12.00) for negatives, 1.500,00 in European style.
- Dates as YYYY-MM-DD (safest), MM/DD/YYYY, or with month names such as 5 Jan 2026. A first number above 12 is read as the day (DD/MM/YYYY).
What happens on import
- Each row gets a stable key from its identifying columns. A row already stored is skipped, so the same file can be uploaded twice safely.
- Rows that cannot be read are listed with the line number and the reason; the rest still import.
- The engine then re-evaluates every stored row for the module, so a duplicate split across two files is still found.
- Open cases are updated with the new figures. Cases you have moved on (disputed, recovered, closed) are left as you set them.
Limits
Each module keeps up to the row limit your plan allows per workspace (60,000 by default). Split older years into a separate workspace if you need more history.
